Abby Hawkins, MSW, LCSW

Hi, I’m Abby. I’m a licensed therapist with ten years of experience working with teens and adults in the Philadelphia area. My approach combines a warm, affirming presence with clinical expertise rooted in evidence-based practices. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Oberlin College.

I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting, comfortable relationship with each client, and I bring genuine care and curiosity to the work we do together. My training includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), exposure therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP). I’m always happy to talk more about what these approaches involve and how they could be helpful to you.

My areas of focus include anxiety disorders, OCD, agoraphobia, disordered eating, relationship challenges, chronic illness, fertility and maternal mental health, LGBTQ+ concerns, and major life transitions. I look forward to potentially working with you!
