Allison is a licensed clinical social worker and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. Her greatest reward as a therapist is helping her clients make meaningful change in their lives that allow them to look forward to the future with hope. Allison believes that all of us hold the key to our own happiness. She is committed to partnering with you to help you re-discover your inner strengths and abilities while finding solutions to the challenges you are facing.

Allison earned her Master’s Degree in social work at Boston College with a concentration in trauma & international social work. She has significant experience providing individual, group, and family therapy in a variety settings. Her experience prior to MLCWC included working in Thailand’s Burmese refugee camps with survivors of war trauma and domestic violence, providing counseling and care management to older adults & their families at a PACE program, and conducting in-home family stabilization therapy with at-risk adolescents.

Her therapeutic approach is solution-focused, holistic, and incorporates principals from cognitive behavioral therapy, Gestalt therapy, DBT, psychoeducation, as well as mindfulness & meditation.
