Kirk Andrews, LSW

Hi I’m Kirk,

I am a compassionate and thoughtful therapist dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and respected. I believe therapy is a collaborative process rooted in curiosity, authenticity, and trust. My goal is to help clients deepen their self-understanding, work through painful or stuck patterns, and move toward greater emotional freedom and connection.

My approach is relational and grounded in psychodynamic theory, which means I pay close attention to the ways past experiences, relationships, and emotional patterns shape present day challenges. I work primarily with adults navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of their place in the world.

My perspective is also shaped by my international upbringing as a Third Culture Kid (TCK), a term used to describe individuals who grow up across multiple cultures and develop a sense of identity that blends elements of each, while not fully belonging to any one place. This experience has given me a deep appreciation for the complexity of identity, belonging, and adaptation. I am particularly attuned to the emotional experiences of people navigating cultural transitions, and the challenges of feeling both connected and different.

I strive to meet each client with warmth, respect, and genuine care. Together, we will explore your experiences at your pace, helping you make meaning of your story and develop new ways of relating to yourself and others. I believe healing happens within relationships, and I am honored to walk alongside clients as they move toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-compassion.

Warmly,

Kirk Andrews
