Lisa Resnick, MA, LPC

Lisa is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (NY), a Licensed Professional Counselor (PA) and Certified Health and Wellness Coach, with over 10 years of experience helping people achieve emotional healing and wellness in life. Lisa works with individuals in the Haverford and Center City offices. 

She received her Master's Degrees in Counseling Psychology from Teacher's College, Columbia University, with an emphasis on multiculturalism and client-centered counseling and has worked in community mental health clinics, substance abuse treatment centers, psychiatric programs, and vocational programs that have prepared her to work collaboratively with her current clients.

Lisa is a caring, supportive and genuine therapist who works to understand people as individuals and will help clients explore their emotional health from a holistic perspective, including mind, body and soul. She works from an eclectic and client tailored perspective acknowledging that thoughts affect our feelings and behaviors, and that supportive relationships can empower individual change. Lisa’s focus is on helping you increase self-acceptance and compassion, using emotional expression, self-awareness and accountability. Lisa provides a safe, non-judgmental, and open space to discuss dreams, feelings and goals and to begin accomplishing growth in areas you identify. She emphasizes the therapeutic values of empathy, authenticity, and validation, and believes in the ability of humans to heal themselves and become fully actualized through personal insight and connection with their authentic selves. Lisa knows that change can be a difficult process, but encourages clients to take that next step with her professional support and guidance— as it is more than worth it!  Lisa is accepting new clients.
