Megan is a licensed professional counselor and certified spiritual director. She earned her M.A. in Clinical-Counseling Psychology from La Salle University in 2010 and has worked primarily in college mental health counseling and outpatient therapy. She views therapy as a journey of self-discovery and believes that the therapist’s empathy and positive regard are essential to the client’s progress and growth. She has developed an integrative approach to therapy, utilizing a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness exercises, narrative therapy and insight-oriented work, as is appropriate and helpful to the client.
