Patricia graduated with a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Temple University and then went on to complete a certification program at Thomas Jefferson University for Advanced Trauma Counseling. Patricia is a Licensed Counselor and is certified by the Beck Institute in CBT and nationally certified in TF-CBT. Patricia is also on the executive board of the Greater Philadelphia Area Counseling Association (GPACA).

Patricia has worked as a counselor providing general outpatient therapy as well as trauma counseling since 2013. She has served diverse populations including underprivileged, immigrant, and refugee children and families, providing support in processing traumatic their experiences. Patricia has experience working with survivors of sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, neglect, parent substance use, domestic violence, traumatic loss, and victims of crimes. Patricia has also served the general population working with individuals with a variety of mental health concerns and behavioral challenges.

Patricia is passionate about helping people and uses an eclectic approach to meet the client where he/she is. Patricia believes in a client-centered approach, working collectively with the client to best support his/her journey to healing and recovery.

Patricia is fluent in Igbo and Spanish.
