Sarah is a Licensed Social Worker and a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University majoring in Human Development, concentrating in Cognitive Science and earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Pennsylvania.
She has experience working with diverse populations in mental health institutions and private practice. She worked in a renowned Family Education Program for 8 years speaking on topics such as mental health, parenting, and recovery around the country.
Sarah utilizes a humanistic approach to therapy and also holds specific training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
Sarah prioritizes respect, compassion and safety in order to help clients process struggles, confusion, pain and stress. She aims to provide meaningful and quality care through evidence-based approaches. Sarah caters to each individual’s unique needs by integrating nervous system work, behavioral approaches, and narrative therapy in order to help clients gain insight, direction and agency.
