As a certified trauma professional (CTP), I aim to create a warm, inclusive, brave space in which my clients can explore their life experiences. I believe each individual is unique, as are their therapeutic needs, and I use a variety of evidence-based treatment models including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), IFS-informed, and mindfulness techniques to help guide our sessions. I also do not believe in “pathologizing” people, reducing them to a diagnosis or viewing them as a problem to “fix.”
I’ve worked with a variety of individuals and couples including those impacted by anxiety, depression and self-harming behaviors, substance abuse, schizoaffective disorders, PTSD, relational trauma, and those just seeking a safe space. No matter what reason you’re considering therapy, it may feel daunting, but can also be a powerful tool in your healing journey. I believe in building a collaborative and trusting therapeutic relationship with my clients, and empowering them to live healthier, functional lives.
I received my master’s degree in Counseling from Arcadia University, with a specialization in Trauma, and my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Public Health from Muhlenberg College. As I love to learn and work towards new goals, I am actively working under supervision in pursuit of clinical licensure.
In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, weightlifting, traveling, and spending quality time with my partner.
